Staying active, or getting more active, before surgery can improve the speed and quality of your recovery after surgery. Try to do at least 30 minutes of activity five or more days of the week.
This activity can include cardio/aerobic exercise and body strengthening/resistance training. You don’t need a gym membership to get fit for surgery, here are two videos showing you simple but effective exercises you can do in your own home.
